Total reset but you need conditioner
I was looking for something that I could use to 'reset' my hair after product build up. Completely aware that the cleansing shampoo I already had would dry it out I opted for something a little more 'natural'. I love Christophe Robin products. I spotted it available and took the plunge. Eagerly awaiting my package the next day (festive season holidays) I adventured to the bathroom and I began to follow the instructions. It says once a week apply a tablespoon size onto wet hair, massage the emulsify. Rinse and follow with the purifying Gelée to detangle. I can honestly say, yes it reset my hair but goodness me I needed a conditioner on top too, to indeed detangle my tresses. All cleansing products in honesty needed conditioning products. I think it's a great product and no it didn't dry out my hair as much as my regular cleansing shampoo. I wouldn't use it weekly though, more like monthly. That is because I don't use an excessive amount of products in my hair, I use redken playsafe heat protection and redken all soft oil, on occasion I use label m finishing oil and other products that appeal to me via scent or promise of what they can do for my hair. I don't use hair spray often unless I am putting my hair up. It's a fabulous price and product, very cost effective and gets the job done. You don't know unless you try wether it'll work well for you. So I'm glad I took the plunge and it'll be a staple in my beauty cupboard from now on.

Easy and effective
I got a small pot in my December beauty box and loved this so much, I've bought some more. I swim 5 x a week, and even wearing a swim cap, my hair still gets a build up of chemicals which is so difficult to shift. This is fantastic stuff! You don't need as much as it says on the pot, especially if, like me, you have short hair- a little goes a long way! I use this once a week, following up with a once over with my usual shampoo and conditioner My scalp feels healthier, hair is shinier and much cleaner. It's reduced the brassiness that hard water and chlorine inevitably give my platinum hair. Highly recommended.
