Kérastase Première Bonding Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment [STEP 1- ACTIVATE REPAIR] deeply restores and intensely repairs all levels of damage for all hair types. This includes damage from heat styling, over-processing, colour treatment, bleaching, and even water in your shower.
Formulated with a concentration of 8% Pure Citric Acid and Glycine, the Pre Shampoo acts on inner & outer hair layers to neutralise dullness and stiffness. The formula rebuilds broken keratin bonds to reduce breakage. With its transparent gel texture, the Pre-Shampoo dives deep to help repair persistent damage. Hair is left stronger, healthier-looking, and shinier – as if renewed. Think of it like a skincare routine for your hair. Apply the Première Pre-Shampoo Treatment generously before the shower to damp hair, then after 5 minutes, layer the Shampoo directly on top and lather. Effective
I trialled this alongside the shampoo and conditioner of the same Kérastase Première decalcifying anti-rigidity system repair range. I found it very effective and nourishing for my damaged hair. It did not leave any residue and was very easy to use on damp hair for five minutes before shampoo. After application, shampoo is added on top to further benefit hair repair. I found this really helped remove build up on my bleached blonde hair and left it feeling smooth and more manageable with less frizz. This collection contains citric acid and glycine to repair damage. My hair was stronger, smoother and shiner after a few washes. The texture of the product is lovely and it has a delightful scent. Lovely aesthetic packaging with an easy dispensing design that allows you to control the amount of product used. Small amount of product delivers great results.

Does a great job
Comes in a well designed bottle with the customer in mind. Perfect pump top, especially with wet hands. The product itself is thin and easy to apply. It is a little deceiving how much you need to apply as it starts to foam then doesn’t end up foaming at all. My hair felt so much softer and smoother. It works amazing with the shampoo, that would usually tangle my hair up but with the pre-shampoo it’s great!

It's ok but not grate for 4c hair.
I have chemically treated hair, so I usually have two textures of hair in my head, my relaxed hair and my coarse 4c hair. I have followed all the instructions and applied this first before the shampoo, it made my hair extremely dry and knotty, I believe its because of my hair being 4c needs a moisturising serum instead.

Better than olaplex
This treatment is absolutely amazing! Super fast and easy to use, just wet your hair, leave 5 minutes and use the decalcifying shampoo followed by the conditioner. Unlike olaplex, which I find takes a lot longer to provide good results, I did the whole kerastase process while in the shower and got far better and longer lasting results! The results of using the 3 step process lasted a full week before I felt a difference in my hair again. It's left my hair softer, smoother, shinier, more manageable, less frizzy when I don't style it and seems to have repaired some of the areas damaged by bleaching and heat styling. It's amazing, would recommend to anyone and will definitely by buying when I've finished what I've got!
