A matte red lipstick isn’t usually something I would be brave enough to go for however the shade An Apple A Day is absolutely beautiful, it is the perfect shade of red for me. An unexpected surprise
I was given this lipstick free as part of a review panel & as a 46 year old who wouldn’t have usually picked this specific shade, I wasn’t expecting to like the product much….but wow was I wrong!!! This red shade has cool / blue undertones & actually looked really good against my pale skin & dark hair. The formula was really light, very matte & very hydrating, I suffer with dry lips but this wasn’t phased & glided on effortlessly, even helping keep the usual dryness / flakiness away. I can’t comment on the 8 hours wear, but it certainly lasted well on my 4 hours night out, barely any transfer onto glass & stayed looking fresh. Id actually buy this again!
