This is my third or 4th bottle of this. When I first used it, I would just apply a layer on my skin and rub it in until absorbed. I didn't notice much of a difference on my very red, eczema skin. However, I then started applying a thicker layer and tapping it in, whilst still leaving a white cast. I would let it absorb in and I would have a dewy soft skin all day.
