A multi-action serum ideal for blemish-prone skin. La Roche-Posay’s best-selling Effaclar Ultra Concentrate Serum is a gentle yet effective formula that visibly clarifies the complexion, while micro-exfoliating the skin to decongest the pores and buff away dead surface cells.
Featuring salicylic, glycolic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the concentrated serum boasts optimal results, encouraging smoother-looking skin and a diminished appearance of imperfections. The formula is enriched with the brand’s thermal spring water and niacinamide, providing soothing and brightening benefits, alongside promoting a mattified finish to reduce the look of excess shine.

This is amazing… every week before the TOTM I get lots of spots on my chin. I’ve tried all sorts, but this really works! I use the serum and the spot corrector. The serum smells amazing and is a must! Between the two, it’s so far handled a very angry spot under my skin, the size of a 5p which shrunk overnight and is now tiny and no red mark… I can still feel a tiny lump, but this range is worth every penny! Worth the money
A few months ago I started to get really aggressive acne on my cheeks for the first time in my adult life and nothing seemed to help. I've been using this for just over a month now and my skin has cleared up SO much. It can feel a bit sticky when first applied but smells ok and seems to absorb nicely. Being patient and using daily has 1000% improved my skin when nothing else did - if you suffer with hormonal acne would definitely recommend!

Cleared acne
My skin went horrible and acne prone during lockdown. I used every brand I could think of then I stumbled across this and thought why not. Honestly life changing, it cleared up all my hormonal acne and minimised scarring. I haven’t used for a few weeks and even the spots I do get are small in-comparison to what I used to get, so I don’t feel conscious! Even if I get a spot I will just pop it directly onto the spot rather than my whole face and it does the trick. Be mindful, can be drying if used all the time. I would probably use couple times a week at first, and use a hydrating moisturiser and it can dye pillow cases / towels if too much is used so allow yourself the time for your skin care to settle before going to bed x

I would definitely recommend this serum for people with very oily skins. I love its consistency. In the beginning, I was using it every night before sleep for all face. A couple of weeks later I started to use it only for the oiliest skin parts (nose and chin). I love the feeling after I put it on - I can feel how my skin reacts with it, sometimes it is a bit itchy but not too much and it leaves skin matte for the next day.

Wonderful stuff
