Best as an eye primer for me.
I used to buy the Soft Ochre Paint Pot but found it a teense bit too yellow, so opted for Painterly instead. It's a perfect match to my skin colour, easy to apply and keeps my eyeshadow in place all day no matter what brand I'm using. A little goes a long way so these pots last for ages. Although it is primarily an eye shadow, I've always used it as a primer, I think most people do. I have tried other primers before, but always go back to Paint Pot.

This is not my favourite texture coming from a MAC eyeshadow. I was expecting something a little more spreadable, I found the it quite "grainy" and difficult to apply either using a brush or finger tip. Maybe I need a little more practice or some tuition! That said once on, it doesn't budge.

I was recommended this eye shadow for my daughter's wedding. At my age I found powders to be unflattering. Wow! What a wonderful product. It's creamy and you can build up to get a more in-depth colour or for daytime I just put on one coat. I will be buying this again.
