Revive your hair with the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Mask, a colour-depositing, neutralising hair mask that counteracts orange and brassy tones to maintain lightened hair.
Formulated with the highest concentration of direct dye, the mask contains highly pigmented blue-violet tones that effectively neutralise warm and brassy tones. Ultra-rich, the mask also helps to nourish fragile, colour-treated hair while delivering shine-enhancing ingredients to promote radiant tresses.
Suitable for colour-treated and natural hair.
1 x 30ml Sachet.
Apply to shampooed wet hair, avoiding the scalp area. Leave for 5-10 minutes depending on desired level of neutralisation. 5 minutes for subtle brassy tones, 10 minutes for stubborn brassy tones. Rinse.

I am converted. I used this followed by the shampoo and conditioner in the same range and it has completely taken away the brassy, very much unwanted tones from my brown highlighted hair. The highlights had gone ginger in the sun and after a lock down home hair dye 6 weeks ago. My hair is now. Beautifully toned down nearly ashy brown. My partner commented on how shiny and healthy it looked too and my hair is so porous and brittle right now.

It's definitely blue
A few years ago I made a stupid decision to dye my brown hair red, which even after having my hair dyed back to its original colour, has left the grow out with a slightly coppery/ginger tinge. I bought the mask on a whim to see if it would dampen the auburn ends down and turn them a bit more ashy brown, but it has made no effect. (My hairdresser said this wouldn't work, but still I knew best!...) Do not use this product without gloves on, as it is BLUE. Easy to apply, just make sure to wipe skin down so it doesn't stain and use old towels. I don't feel like the mask made a difference to my hair condition, and the product doesn't seem to be scented. Not a success for me personally but I also didn't have the right hair colour for it. If I ever dye my hair blonde I would try, but I do not recommend using this on brown hair!
