This clarifying cleanser from Murad contains active ingredients such as salicylic acid, which penetrates deep into your pores to combat the key causes of breakouts - the build-up of dead skin cells, excess sebum and bacteria, as well as triclosan (which has anti-bacterial qualities) - green tea extracts, which fights free radicals whilst protecting and anti-oxidising skin, and menthol to leave skin feeling fresh. Not suitable for sensitive skin.

Really Impressed
I have been using this product for a few weeks now and really impressed. It makes my face feel really clean and clear. I moved from using an Aesop In Two Minds product to this due to the slightly cheaper price point.

Not Good - made skin sore and dry
Recently purchased as was recommended by a friend however the product did not react well with my skin. It broke me out in spots for a few weeks and then made my skin break and become very sore, dry and red, especially around the lips. I was excited for the product as my friend loves it but not for me.

Not for sensitive skin
I bought this and after a couple of uses my skin was burning. I have not had acne for 20 years and this has caused me to break out in the worst skin! It’s taken a layer off my lips. My skin is red raw, burning and dry and on my neck. Never again will I purchase this product. Do not buy if you have sensitive skin.

Won’t use anything else!
I’ve been using this for 7 months and I love it. I have quite sensitive skin, very oily in parts and dry in others and am prone to breakouts. This makes my skin look so much clearer and reduces oils significantly. I wouldn’t use anything else on my skin now! Also a little goes a LONG way so 1 bottle lasted 6 months of using it twice a day.

Awful
My skin is used to using acids because I’ve acne prone skin. Within 2 uses of this it’s made my skin red raw, itchy, irritated and sore. Very very disappointed with this product! Mad my skin and breakouts 10x worse. Would not reccomend. Very over hyped for what it is.

Best cleanser ever
I've been using Murad products for over 10 years. This cleanser is my favourite of all time; I've tried other cleansers from different brands but I always come back to this one. I'm in my 30's and have oily skin and this cleanser keeps my skin clean, helps control shine and keeps blemishes at bay. I couldn't recommend it enough. P.s please bring back Murad Perfecting lotion! Thanks.

Wish I’d discovered it years ago
I’m 46 and have had acne for nearly 30 years. On my face, neck, back, back of arms and even on my bottom. No more. This product is amazing. I eased myself up to using it twice a day as it initially made my skin dry but now happily use twice a day and even though I use it on a lot of areas a tube last a long time. Would not be without it now. Thank you Murad

NOT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
I bought this facewash hoping it would help with my clogged pores around my nose and some of the breakouts I get. For context I have sensitive skin and this cleasnser claims to be suitable for sensitive skin. After the first day of using my skin felt good and smooth but by only the second day my skin was burning after I used this cleanser and my skin was so rough and so so so dry. The texture is now like sandpaper and my skin is vert red and covered in tiny bumbs. Any moisturiser i put on burns and us very quickly soaked up. From reading reviews it appears I'm not the only one. I would only recommend this if you had very very oily skin

The only cleanser that I will ever use again.
I picked up a sample of this cleanser 4 years ago and even with my move to UK, I refuse to let it go! I have moderate to very oily skin and I get stress breakouts rather easily but with this cleaner I notice little to no new breakouts even with the big move!! Makes me skin feel noticeably firmer and smoother. Like I said, 4 years and it still works just as well as the first day I bought it. I will never use another face wash again!

Another fab nurse product. Helps to clear spots and takes make up off really well. Can be used as first or second cleanser.
