Disappointed
Was very excited to try this product after seeing reviews online, I looked into the shades to see which one would be the best match for me. Unfortunately the shades seem to look different on each website I looked at. I was hoping to find a shade to match the Nars concealer I use (chantilly), however I found this quite difficult. I decided to buy shade Mont Blanc as online reviews made it seem like a good match, and the other 2 lighter shades looked too yellow and too pink. I could not believe how dark it looked in the bottle when I received it. And when I applied it to my face it was just straight orange. I have since gave this foundation to my mum who is usually a more medium shade of foundation and it matches her perfectly. The formula was quite nice but it does seem to oxidise quite a bit which is something to keep in mind. It would be so much easier if NARS just matched the foundation names to their concealer shade names to make picking your shade easier, especially with it being an expensive foundation

Unfortunately although I did a colour match online , the advised colour was far too dark for me. Also the foundation is quite shiny so I was most disappointed! What a waste of money !

Goes on really smoothly and one pump is sufficient even though I thought it wouldn’t be enough. I ordered the Valencia but will go to ( as advised ) to Santa Fe for winter shade . I’m a neutral tone and have in the past been disappointed with some other brands that are too yellow. This is not . Highly recommend
