Can be applied directly from the applicator, with fingertips or the #12 Cream Blending Brush.
As a highlighter, select 1-3 shades lighter than the concealer shade and place on high points of the face.

Lovely concealer, nice coverage, it does settle in fine lines under eyes though, I've gave up on finding the wholly grail of concealers as I've yet to find one that does not crease, not sure this is something that older women can ever hope for, but still a really nice concealer and I would recommend.
