Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Great serum
Good serum, my skin appeared clearer after the first few uses. It says it's fragrance-free, but I felt that there was a slight smell that was a bit unpleasant. Would buy it again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Reduced spots
I have very acne prone skin unfortunately but this serum really helped prevent new acne on my face and helped keep my skin clear. I really wanted to love this product but I just found it a bit disappointing. It did apply smoothly and I liked the feel of it, but it had a strange smell to it and I am yet to see any progress in my skin over the last two weeks of using it. It might work on less blemished skin but for me I wouldn’t buy this again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Useful little product
This product has worked wonders on my skin. I was struggling with dry, blemished skin before and this has helped so much. I scar quite easily, and there's a marked difference in some of those scars now, thanks to this wonder product. My only slight issue is the 'fragrance free' bit. The lack of added fragrance means it has a really off putting, clinical smell, which isn't nice at all. Otherwise, I definitely recommend. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great product that works well but has a horrible smell!
I suffer from red post acne scarring on my face and thought this product would be perfect for my skin! It definitely makes a difference in texture and my red marks have faded slightly with regular use. However, the product has the most horrible odour, and even when applying onto my face, it lingers and takes a couple of hours to fade. I can only describe the smell to be a strong chemical BO sour smell. I would continue using this product, however the smell is hard to get past especially when using at night and sharing a bed with your partner! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Perfect serum
The serum comes in a convenient tube with an applicator. Capacity is 30 ml. It has the consistency of a gel, but for me the smell is not entirely pleasant - although it is written on the packaging that it has no scent, but you can only feel it for the first few moments, then it is no longer noticeable. I have been using it continuously for about 3 weeks. I use it every morning and evening, applying a thin layer of serum to my face, but I especially focus on my cheeks - where my skin is most problematic. The gel spreads very well, absorbs quickly, does not leave a greasy layer, and has a moisturizing effect. It definitely improved the structure of my skin and helps cleanse my pores. The skin is brighter. What is very important to me is that it does not irritate my skin. it contains active acids, including: glycolic acid, mandelic acid and guconolactone - they all work together perfectly. Discolorations are less visible and the skin looks healthier. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Totally recommend!
It certainly does exactly what it claims, it’s worked a charm on my skin, every blemish that’s appeared has disappeared quickly after using it and it’s left my skin glowy and fresh. The only negative I would give is it doesn’t smell particularly nice, it’s nothing horrendous though, and nothing you can’t get rid of by washing your hands after use. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great results

Good quality serum
Good serum overall, the skin does purge quite a lot in the beginning. The scent is VERY unpleasant and quite strong, so would be good to at least get the unscented version. I have noticed a slight improvement on the skin but nothing susbttantive. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
