Developed with dermatologists, the Neutrogena Clear and Defend Facial Wash is a lightweight gel cleanser that protects from blemish-causing bacteria and breakouts.
Powered by 2% salicylic acid, the foaming formula gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to encourage a visibly smooth, supple complexion. Daily dirt and product debris is effortlessly removed, while skin is left feeling refreshed and renewed post-use.
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly.

Not for everyday
I really like this cleanser but my skin is on the dryer side so I can’t use this everyday. This cleanser has salicylic acid and by using it twice or maybe three times a week, I have only had my skin break out once. There’s a lot in the bottle and it lathers really well so you don’t need a lot. I would say this is fragranced. It smells slightly citrusy but it isn’t too bad. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Love the Neutrogena Clear & Defend Face Wash!
I've been using the Neutrogena Clear & Defend Face Wash for a couple weeks now, and I’m really impressed! It gently cleanses my skin without drying it out, leaving it feeling fresh and smooth. Amazing!

Neutrogena face wash
As a person who has acne I tried loads of cleaning products. I loved testing Neutrogena clear and defend face wash, used it every day in my routine and I was really impressed. Okay but not for my skin type
I recently tried this face wash, hoping it would be a gentle option for my sensitive skin, but unfortunately, it didn't quite work for me. While it had a nice texture and lathered well, I noticed that after using it, my skin felt dry and slightly irritated. It didn’t seem to soothe or hydrate as I had hoped. The fragrance was a bit strong too, which I found a little overwhelming for my skin type. Didn’t like the formula
It felt like there wasn’t enough formula because it was quite runny and that if it was thicker I feel I would have got a deeper clean.

Clean without the dryness

Refreshing

Clearer Skin!
This is a really good oil-free cleanser! Worked well on my blemish-prone skin and I have noticed fewer breakouts since using this. It's a good, thick gel consistency but easy to lather and does not leave skin feeling tight or stripped of moisture. Would recommend! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
