first impressions
i was really excited to try this set as i am interested in the entire acidic bonding range! i used all the products today and here are my thoughts as someone with slightly frizzy, wavy 2b medium porosity hair. shampoo: i have an oily scalp but i found this very refreshing! my hair doesn’t look or feel greasy but i tend to stay away from hydrating shampoos because of this. smells beautiful and lathered up really well though. conditioner: definitely felt very nice and of course smells amazing. i often use hydrating conditioners to help with frizzy lengths and could see myself buying this in a bigger size! leave in: i’ve used this before and it gave a lovely shine to my hair without weighing it down. my only problem with this is the consistency - this sample tube was slightly gritty which i haven’t experienced with this product before. serum: it doesn’t share the citrusy smell of the other ABC products, but this stuff is amazing! instantly made my hair feel soft and hydrated in just one use. it’s quite runny though so make sure to shake it up really well before using. overall, i’m really happy with this sample set!

Great sample set but awful products
I have 2b/2c wavy hair, medium density and unsure of porosity. My hair is bleached and brightly coloured at the hairdressers (usually matrix colour cult). After trying new, natural hair products and drying my hair out and causing breakage, I decided to buy this set to try repair my hair. It just made my hair incredibly frizzy, doesn't feel much softer or hydrated and took the natural waves from my hair. I was so disappointed because all the reviews seemed so positive but upon further research (to the Reddit corners of the web), it's well known for causing breakage :( please do some thorough research before committing to these products, although the set is a wonderful little tester set.

Bleach blonde saviours
I bleach my hair to a level 10 so I'm always trying different bonding products in an effort to keep some hair on my head, I really liked this set as a chance to try the whole system. I'll likely repurchase the serum as there aren't many other leave in bonding products like it, it's liquid enough that I feel like it gets through all of my hair as some other thicker products grab onto the hair and are tricky to spread throughout. The shampoo and conditioner were good but nothing out of this world. The leave in treatment is great due to it being a bonding and heat protection product so I'll probably get a full size of that to give it a longer term try, I can see it replacing my current heat protection, very happy all round
