To keep skin hydrated it's important to use a combination of hydrators to increase the skins water content and emollients (oils or oil-like ingredients) to help seal water inside. Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide are both great ingredients to help promote hydration and support the barrier. They can be found within products like Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. Emollients can be used alone, like 100% plant-derived squalane, or can be ingredients found within moisturisers like ceramides or lipids that are found within our Natural Moisturizing Factors moisturisers.

Firstly, it's best to select a gentle, non-stripping cleanser that can effectively cleanse and remove makeup while respecting the skin barrier. 

Secondly, opt for products with ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to help keep skin hydrated and support the skin barrier. 

Lastly, chose a moisturiser that is right for you, to help seal everything in and protect against moisture loss. It's also important to ensure SPF application daily, and avoid over-exfoliation which can damage the skin barrier and lead to signs of irritation.
