The Ordinary's AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a potent formula that acts as a ten-minute exfoliating facial, helping to brighten, smooth and refine the appearance of skin.
The advanced exfoliant features a blend of 30% alpha hydroxyl acids (glycolic, lactic, tartaric and citric), as well as 2% beta hydroxyl salicylic acid. Helping to slough away dead skin cells, the powerhouse formula minimises the look of dullness, pore congestion and textural irregularities. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and Tasmanian pepperberry promote rich antioxidant benefits, while nourishing the skin with a soothing, comfortable finish. Topped off with radiance-enhancing black carrot extract, the illuminating mask promotes the look of revitalised, glowing skin.
Suitable for most skin types but not recommended for very sensitive or compromised skin. Always patch test before use.

This caused so much pain to my face as soon as I put it on. I’ve also read loads of articles online where people have got chemical burns all over their faces. How is this product still legal?

This was my first time trying this after seeing it go viral a while ago, I’ve been using it 2 times a week for the past week (alongside other skin care products) and I can honestly see a difference, my skin feels and looks so much smoother. Definitely not for sensitive skin though, this is a strong product and needs to be used carefully! Excellent for minimising pores
A much younger colleague (with beautifully clear skin) put me on to this. I have sensitive skin and was a little concerned about reacting but the patch test proved no problem. I have failed to properly manage and reduce open pores on my nose for years - in spite of trying numerous products - and have instead relied upon the excellent Pore Professional (Benefit) which is fantastic at hiding them. I have only used this product twice but the pores on my nose have already been significantly and visibly reduced. I’m excited to continue using it to see just how clear my skin can become! Acne Killer!
I've been using The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution for about 3 years now. It's a strong product. And should be used with care. But as long as it is used properly, it can be a real miracle worker. The way I use it over the past 3 years has changed. I used to use it just now and again. applying it to my whole face for 10 minutes. These days I use it in a different way. If I wake up in the morning with a break out or I can see some blackheads building up. After wiping the oil off my face with a bit of warm water on some cotton wool. I dry my face. Then I apply this product to my Acne /spot / spots or blackheads. Most of the time, I do not apply it to my whole face. I eat my breakfast then wash it off. This is very often, enough to remove the offending blackheads. Or kill the Acne / Spot / spots, before they have managed to take hold.
