The Ordinary's AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a potent formula that acts as a ten-minute exfoliating facial, helping to brighten, smooth and refine the appearance of skin.
The advanced exfoliant features a blend of 30% alpha hydroxyl acids (glycolic, lactic, tartaric and citric), as well as 2% beta hydroxyl salicylic acid. Helping to slough away dead skin cells, the powerhouse formula minimises the look of dullness, pore congestion and textural irregularities. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and Tasmanian pepperberry promote rich antioxidant benefits, while nourishing the skin with a soothing, comfortable finish. Topped off with radiance-enhancing black carrot extract, the illuminating mask promotes the look of revitalised, glowing skin.
Suitable for most skin types but not recommended for very sensitive or compromised skin. Always patch test before use.

I am so happy with this peel! So many beauty products do very little or only improve skin over a very long period of time, but the effects of this product are immediately obvious. It exfoliates in a way that scrubs cannot and leaves the skin very soft and radiant. It says you can use twice a week, but I feel like once a week is more than enough as it is very harsh. It really stings, especially the first time so prepare yourself for some pain and maybe have a glass of wine first! (Totally worth it though!)

I have combination skin and have had problems with spots since I was a teenager. I've been looking for an acid peel for a while now, but every overnight treatment I tried (the lactic acid from the same brand, as well as PC products) broke me out, resulting in big cysts around my chin (which I never get, and this kind of breakout is unlikely to be purging). I was about to give up on acids all together, but decided to give them one last shot with this product. It stings slightly when you put it on, but for me the feeling goes away in less than a minute. It's also red, so you look like you've been bathing in the blood of your enemies (according to my boyfriend lol). So far I've only used it a couple times, each time leaving it on for less than 10 minutes. I was incredibly amazed when I could see effects after just one application - my skin looked much brighter and healthier as soon as I washed it off. Furthermore, the next morning, all my spots looked significantly smaller and faded! I've had an acid treatment done at a beauticians a couple of times and must say that the effects are nearly comparable. Also, since I started using it, I only get an occasional spot, compared to an average 5 at any given time. Highly recommend!

Made a big difference
First time using an acid and I was worried it might be a bit strong for me but it wasn't at all, Light tingling at first but that subsided fairly quickly. I only left it on for 6 minutes but will definitely try 10 next time. Left my skin very smooth and definitely brighter.

I have only used it once, and it already showed results! I have small white bumps all over my face, and with only one application a lot of the smaller bumps disappeared. It does sting a bit, but it is not that bad. Also, you need to moisturise after it, as it leaves skin a bit dry. 10/10, would recommend!

Strong acid
This is a strong acid, so it must be used really carefully. Do not apply if any open blemishes. Do not leave on for more than 10 minutes and also apply only on perfectly dry skin. The effect can be seen after it is removed. A hydrating cream must be used afterwards to re-balance the skin. For my combination skin is less aggressive then a scrub.
