Teaming an oversized brush with an innovative oil-in-water wax formula, Yves Saint Laurent presents the Lash Clash Mascara. The thick, yet creamy, formula offers extreme volume with up to 24-hour wear, combining hyper-black pigments and smudge-resistant boosters for long-lasting drama and definition.
Featuring a patent-pending double conical brush, the volumising mascara coats lashes with high-impact, buildable colour, layer after layer. Iris florentina extract infuses the formula, helping to condition lashes with every coat. Designed to create intense volume, lift and curl in just five strokes, Lash Clash is your secret weapon for high-impact lashes.
Step 1: Sweep - Start applying the mascara at the root of the lash and sweep the wand upwards, separating lashes with the double conical brush.
Step 2: Lift- Apply the 2nd swipe by holding the mascara at the root of the lashes, wiggle the mascara brush and lift to lash tip.
Step 3: Zig-Zag Up - For the 3rd coat, apply to lash and zig-zag upwards ensuring the full lash is coated.
Step 4: Zig-Zag Down - Apply on top of the lash and sweep the mascara wand upwards for massive impact
Step 5: Flick - Apply the brush to the lash for the 5th coat, flick the brush through the lashes to separate each lash. On the inner & bottom lashes, use just the tip of the brush and apply to individual lashes.

Excellent mascara
I have sensitive eyes and wear contacts and a lot of mascaras either irritate my eyes or don’t wear well as they run or leave an under eye shadow. This mascara builds up beautifully, looks great with lots of volume and stays put without irritating my eyes. I’ve tried lots of mascaras and this is 5* for me.

Does the job
Used it a couple of times so far and my first time using any ysl mascara. I looked into all the types and went with this as I like a light feather type large wand. Well it is large, a lot bigger than I anticipated and the mascara container is bulky too I wanted it slimmer and more refined. Anyway, the mascara glides on nicely. It does some to pill or flake off with activity throughout the day so it’s not especially stay put. I don’t at this stage feel it warrants the price. I love mascara but they don’t last as long as other make up so I would only suggest getting with a deal or if you especially love this. I prefer the gold packaging as it looks more luxurious. This could have been nicer if it was metallic weather than matte plastic and clunky. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a mascara so I wanted sophistication. But it’s not bad. I would say give it a try if you can get a good deal.

I bought this due to YouTube showing it a lot nowadays but it is really a great product, one of the best mascaras I ever had to be honest. The brush is bigger than the most mascaras which first seems scary but it really works very well. I normally have to apply 3-4 coats with wriggly motions but this one works even if I just slightly touch the brush on the lashes. Plus I think one of the ingredients is really nourishing for the lashes because I think my lashes grew a bit since I use this one.

Gloopy, smudgy, unpleasant.
This is a truly awful mascara. It smudges almost immediately, takes ages to dry, ends up half way down your face. I can’t say how little I recommend this. It is the worst mascara I have tried in many years (and I’ve tried many).
