Designed to drench the complexion in long-lasting moisture, Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro™ Ceramide Face Moisturiser is an airy, whipped cream that helps support the skin barrier and defend against everyday environmental stressors.
Formulated with a pH of 5.2, the rich yet breathable texture blends a triple-ceramide complex with five African oils, including marula, to help nourish and soften dry, lacklustre skin. A sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer delivers hydration to minimise the look of fine lines, while high-performance ingredients help to lock in hydration. Rich yet lightweight, the cream promotes a fresh, brighter-looking visage.

Impressed again by Drunk Elephant
I’ve got the Drunk Elephant bronzing drops and the Drunk Elephant Rossi Drops and needed the proper base for using these 2. A little goes a long way and it’s great for underneath the bronzing products. I will probably buy more from this collection as I am impressed. Only thing is, not entirely sure whether or not this company test on animals…

Ceramide moisturiser
I have super dry, thirsty skin and so I am always looking for thick, nourishing moisturisers to keep it hydrated. I've previously used other DE moisturisers, and after having a look online, this looked like a good fit. It's a thick ceramide based cream, so feels really nice on application, however, probably isn't really enough for me in winter, I'll stick to using this in summer and the Bora Bora Barrier cream in winter :)

Pump doesn’t work - disappointing
The pump mechanism on the moisturiser doesn’t work. This is really disappointing for an expensive moisturiser, not the quality I’d expect. Can’t comment on the moisturiser itself as so far I’ve been unable to use it.
