ila-spa Body Cream for Glowing Radiance 200g

I first discovered this wonderful cream when I was given 2 pots of old stock by a friend who was winding up her online beauty business. I also received a pot of Ila day cream from the same range which I didn't really get along with. Being a bit low on funds at the time and not having the spare cash to go out and buy myself a new face moisturiser I just started using the Body Cream on my face to tide me over. What a happy accident that was! I've always had combination skin, and as I've got older (now mid-forties) I've found that my skin has become much more sensitive, and that the wrong moisturiser can wreak havoc with my complexion in the space of 48 hours, causing dry patches and reddening as well as break-outs. Within a couple of days of using this product however my skin was completely rejeuvenated, it felt so soft and 'plumped up' with moisture that a lot of my finer lines seemed to disappear! The texture of this cream is noticeably different to other moisturisers too, with none of the plasticky slipperiness that you often find these days. I also absolutely LOVE the fragrance of this range, and although I usually find rose fragrances a bit too overpowering and cloying the addition of the Damascena Rose oil in this cream brings a lightly hippyish note that I find really uplifting. Of course it is eye-wateringly expensive compared to products I have used in the past, but having reached that stage in life where women are expected to start gradually shrivelling and drying up (Nooo !) anything that can induce such a dewy youthfulness in such a short space of time is for me worth the investment!
