Pro Tip From Illamasqua Head Of Education - Mel Barrese: This palette is all about texture, with it's collection of shimmery, light reflecting shades. The gemstone colours allow you to build a multitude of looks whilst adding a touch of sparkle, day or night. For a deep glamorous evening look, darker hues such as Black Pearl and Sapphire Beam add depth. Simply apply to the lid and blend upwards and outwards. You can also add extra drama, by applying to the lower lash line, so you have a classic smokey eye and then finish off the look by applying black pencil eyeliner to the top and/or bottom lash line. Finally add lots of mascara to emphasise your lashes. For a softer, everyday look, stick to the peachy golden skin tone colours, such as Solar Flare, After Glow and Glow Beyond. These softer tones are amazing for adding soft shimmer and radiance to the eyes. Range of wearable shimmers
I've been using this palette for about a week. The main positive is the quality of the shadows - the colours are true to the online photo, and work well together, with a range of cool and warm tones (I much prefer the left hand side of the palette; but the greens work well with the brown shades). They blend pretty well and there is minimal (but not no) fallout. The colour builds up well. The main weakness is the lack of any matte shades to use as a base for the various looks the colour combinations can create.

Beyond Gorgeous
This was my first time trying Illamasqua eyeshadows but it won't be the last. These are excellent quality shimmers that last on my eyes all day without creasing- the duochromes are lovely and the shade Twilight is unique - I don't have anything else like it. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.
