Impressed

I was really worried about colouring my hair myself and worried about whether this would be the right shade. Couldn't have been easier and the colour is spot on and my hair looks pretty good. Even considering just doing it myself from now on and save a tonne of money!

Good home hair dye

I’ve used this hair dye on numerous occasions as I can’t go to the salon every time. It’s quite good quality and I chose it as I don’t want to damage my hair. It has a lot of oil extracts and good things to nourish your ‘crown’ and the no ammonia makes it even better. It doesn’t stink as hair dyes used to back in the day (which I was afraid of). Does have a slight odour of course but it’s not at all as bad. I like the outcome of it, hair looks nice & shiny and the coconut conditioner that comes in the box smells quite nice. You get everything that you need in there, including gloves and it’s really easy to do even if you haven’t done this before. The instruction leaflet teaches you all the way through it. If you do not have the tools, just use a soup bowl for mixing and an old toothbrush to apply it. Personally, I have found that lighter shades do not stick as much on my stubborn white hair (got dark natural hair) so for a better coverage I tend to use a darker shade so that it serves the purpose. Top Tip: put some moisturiser or any cream you have around your forehead and on your ears before you start the process. It will make the dye come off easier if you go over the hair line by mistake. ;)
