Honestly it’s easier to apply eyeliner free-hand. The plastic thing has a tendency to smudge the ink when applying. The liquid eyeliner itself is very good and applies smoothly.

It is very easy to apply and the line is not translucent but deep black. It does stay for hours.
It comes with an applicator to ensure that the line is straight. It does help if you are new to this type of eye make up.
