The only reason I picked this product was because of its ingredients: All natural and beneficial oils. The thing is, this oil is quite rare, since products claim that they are all natural, however silicone is used, an ingredient if overused can cause build-up and breakage to the hair. What I love about this product is the fact that it has the potential to make your hair (really) better, it nourishes your hair strands and can lead to visible results -just not immediately. I find that you will have to be patient with this until you actually feel the quality of your hair rising. As stated in the comments below, you must find exactly how much oil to use depending on your hair type, or it will get greasy.My hair are medium to long and i have to use almost seven drops from the pipette, so expect this to last you a really long time. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the smell. Not good, just bearable. At first it smelled like roses, then it just resembled fragranced cooking oil.However the smell is not strong, and it soon goes away.

I have very long thick hair, and have been using Redken's Argan oil together with a heat treatment cream before blow drying. I tried using this instead of the Argan oil and I felt that even a small amount left my hair greasy. I see others have said the trick of using this is mastering the pipette and getting the right amount, but as I said I felt that even a little amount felt like too much. Therefore I went over to using it as a pre-showering treatment. I apply a decent amount to the lengths of my hair. I recently did a balayage, and the lengths are feeling quite dry. I feel that this product helps combat the dryness when used as a pre-shower treatment. However, I won't be buying another bottle once this one is used.

This oil is natural without silicons. For me it was very important. It is designed for normal to thick, damaged hair. My hair is soft and shining now. Highly recommend.

After mastering how much I need to use (the most challenging thing about this product) I have to say that it really does work. I have very thick, frizzy and wavy hair naturally and ever since jumping on the ombre wagon I can add very dry to that description. I have been using the Shu Uemura hair oil for a while and while I have no complaints, I feel that this Redken one is just more nourishing and makes my hair more manageable. But - and this is quite important - it's not enough on it's own. So when I plan to wear my hair straight I couple this with Aveda's smooth infusion prep or their be curly curl enhancer if I'm going for the wavy look. Either way my hair is left frizz free and softer with less flyaway bits. Please note I also dry my hair naturally so this may work EVEN better if you have mastered the trick of a good blow-dry. I've also noted some comments about this being too greasy for people, please note there is a lighter version of this product.

No matter how little amount I used it made my normal (not too thick and not too thin) hair look so greasy, I had to wash it again. And it smells dreadful, like Soviet perfume.
