I had never tried a dry shampoo in Powder and when using it for the 1st time is not clear if you are putting it on or not. But you can definitely tell the difference afterwards, I use it after strong workouts and still no smell or itchiness in my head it is really good once you get used to it

This product does work once you manage to apply the product to the areas in your hair that need it. There isn't any smell from this powder and it seems to be a similar consistency to baby powder. Some days, I have no issue getting the powder out onto my hair and on those days my hair looks great. But then other days the powder just seems to clump up and stick to the inside of the bottle especially the cap area. On those days I have to pour the powder out onto my hand and apply it to my hair with the tips of my fingers. If the spout opening of the bottle was shaped differently, I think it could solve the issue.

This is a truly great product. I don't have experience of other dry shampoos as I am a recent convert to dry shampoo. Seems reviews paid off and my first purchase has been a good one and I don't think I will be tempted to try others as many I read up had their flaws. Redken certainly prevents/removes grease /oil build-up and I even use it after washing my hair to add some oomph and body as I have very fine long hair that struggles to get root volume so this serves more than one purpose.. love it .
