Gently push the surface of the solid balm formula with your fingers, a brush or sponge. Warm up the formula on the back of your hand and apply to the desired areas for a sheer flush of colour.

Sticky and sheer
I really wanted to love this but just didn’t. I tried it different ways, under powder, over powder and even on its own. It’s like Vaseline in the sense that it slips and slides all over you can’t get it to stay put. I found no matter which way I applied it, it would remove any makeup underneath.

No pigment
The texture of this is nice but there’s so little pigment in it that in an attempt to get it to show up on your face or lips you just end up looking shiny! Wish I’d gone for a darker pink but this shade (rose pink) more like a clear balm.

Disappointing.
I'm a big fan of revolution so I was looking forward to trying out the beauty balm. Very disappointing, doesn't really show/glow unless you probably put half the tub on, thought I'd use as a lip balm, this works but doesn't stay on for long.

Pretty colour
This leaves a lovely Rosie glow and can be used on eyes , lips and cheeks . I bought one other colour as well which is slightly more peachy

Warm glow
This gives a lovely warm glow in the summer with a tan . In the winter it’s gives a lovely pop of colour where you need it , cheeks , eyes
