I use this in lieu of the CT FF, I haven't used it with hydrating foundation but it works well to balance matte foundation on dry skin. I have very dry skin but use it with the estee lauder double wear (both powder and liquid) and it melts the makeup perfectly, minimal to no transfer. Purchases twice already. Wear length : 12 hours with only 1 touch up on my nose.
