Worked well the first time and then started to leave a weird, tacky residue on my hair! Stopped using it and threw away

I bought this as I have very oily hair (my hair gets greasy 1-2 days after washing) so I was praying I had found a holy grail product, after reading the great reviews. I have used it for months now and have seen no improvements whatsoever, my hair is still as oily as it was before. It also doesn't lather, it feels like you aren't even washing your hair when you use it because it just disappears. I've tried shampooing twice with this which does help with the lathering, but still didn't help with the oily scalp issue. It has a lovely lemon scent to it though, which is the only positive for me. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend :( 

I'm brunette, I have sensitive skin, my hair is thin, long and really straight, so after one day without washing it, it tends to get oily. I've used a lot of different shampoos and conditioners (Tea Tree, Paul Mitchell, Keune, even other international brands such as Lowell - this last one is incredible by the way) but after a few months using the same product, my hair seems to deslike it and it starts to get more oily then it should and shine is not the same anymore. I'm very picky about the products I buy for my hair, so I've read a lot of reviews before buying Sukin Oil Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner. I've been using it for two weeks now and here is my review: 1- If you let your hair dry naturally, maybe for some it will feel like it is a little heavy on shine and might think its oily. my impression is that these products really hydrated my hair, because the next day I still get the shine but it doesn't feel like I need to wash it again. 2- Now, if you blow dry your hair, your have a wholeeee different result. It looks beautiful, soft, smooth and light. (I also use a thermal protector: Aveda Heat Relief) Conclusion: if you are looking for a product to use on a daily basis I would give Sukin's shampoo and conditioner a go. They small amazingly good (like you are in a spa). If you are looking for a deeep cleaser, this it not the product for you! I would definitely go with Tea Tree products instead.

Really impressed with this shampoo, my hair is soft and feels amazing. I normally have a oily scalp and now that feeling is gone. My hair feel really good, healthy and i don´t need to wash it as often as I used to. Highly recommend this shampoo for who suffers from oily roots and dry ends.
