My hair is very thick and curly. After using it, my hair got detangled and became shiny. Recommend.

I gave it 3 stars because it's very light, almost airy. I prefer the classic tangle teezer when you feel the weight.

I have long very thick, afro-curly hair. I have tried many different 'de-tangling' brushes all of which have failed, either by being made for smoother hair, two have broken while trying to do my hair... and the fact that the bristles did not penetrate all the through all my hair. But after trying this brush I can say that yes, it goes all the way through my hair and de-tangles very quickly (no more intense upper arm workouts). It is also better than the wide toothed combs I have been using as there is more bristles and it gets though more knots that a wide-toothed comb would miss.

Perfect for my thick and curly hair!!! Much better than the original one if you do have thick hair.
