I have tried quite a few products in the Alterna Caviar range which I love, however Alterna Bamboo is slightly cheaper and I wanted to find out why. This masque is moisturising and leaves a lasting shine on my hair (afro/carib coily), it reduces frizz but sadly, makes my ends feel somewhat dry. So for that reason, I will continue to use but only once a month for a moisture/shine kick - and stick to the Alterna Caviar Oil-Creme Deep Conditioner (which is a miracle in a tube).

I initially bought this because I ADORE the Bamboo Shine range, and this product certainly didn't disappoint! My hair felt softer and smoother after using it once and it's become my favorite mask because of the instant results!

I love this hair mask its all you could want for moisture and softness if that is what your hair needs. The only time this won't work is if your hair is in need of protein and not moisture. I use this once a week and a deep protein treatment once a week as well for happy hair.

This product worked magic for my curly hair! In a matter of minutes it turned my hair to silky, stretchy, bouncy curls. It softens and even defines them. The product is full of the best ingredients.
