I have owned the first model and this model and neither of them performed anywhere near as good as they look. I have always hated razor designs and thought this is a great sleek product that's easy on the eye for travel and home. Thats where the positivity ends and the only reason I can give this product 3 stars. if you are using it on the lowest setting, which is without the guard, it functions perfectly well, but it defeats the point of it being a stubble or beard trimmer. Anything over 2mm guard setting and the cutting action is terrible. It simply doesn't function well, its patchy and no matter in which direction you pull it it just refuses to cut some hairs. between 2-4mm it is possible to get an okayish cut but it has literally taken me 45 minutes to achieve this, I may be critical but I am persistent.
