I have highlighted fairly fine hair, tried this instead of the my usual one (biolage for damaged hair) and it made my hair feel like straw and dry, I did notice my hair was slightly thicker but it felt so dry I had to re-wash it the same day. Maybe it’s great if you have very healthy hair but it didn’t suit my hair type. The damaged hair shampoo and conditioner in the range is the best I’ve ever used.

I’ve used this for about 2 years, it leaves my hair fuller, bouncer & smells fresh. It really does work!

First few times I used this I loved the smell and the way it made my scalp feel clean and fresh - it actually made it tingle. I also thought it made my hair feel thicker however a few weeks on I realise this was an illusion as it basically "puffs up"/ frizzes the hair so it looks a bit fuller as it is drier and frizzes out more, however, when wet the hair is just as thin. I used this shampoo and the matching conditioner for 6 weeks and my hair got progressively drier and drier to the extent that it started snapping ( I now actually have tufts of hair in places) and my hair is now just dry frizz - almost matted wool-like. I've been using expensive hydration masks for a few weeks now to try and get my hair back to the condition it was before using Biolage however it's going to take time to get the condition back and also for the snapped hair to grow back again. I really wish I had never used this product. I can see from the reviews that the product has some good reviews so perhaps it just causes a problem on textured coloured hair.

I would buy this again and again, I have quite fine hair that definitely needs some help, this shampoo does this. Highly recommend
