This Kérastase Styling Spray à Porter has nice packaging and is a lovely smelling spray which is supposed to be applied to 80% dry hair (e.g. slightly damp hair) then dried the rest of the way with scrunching by hand or a diffuser to produce beachy waves. I found the spray did not induce my almost poker straight hair to stay in noticeable waves using this method but when I applied a second mist of spray to dry sections then used my flat iron compatible curlers (the spray has heat protection built in) I got long lasting textured waves. managed to stay wavy all day. It does leave a product like coating on the hair, but it is a texturiser after all and the coating was dry and not sticky or cripsy and left my hair with a nice sheen. It did not make my hair feel heavy and helped maintain volume. far prefer this to the other curl setting spays i have tried even though it's not sold for this purpose! I would definitely buy again.

I have very thick, naturally curly hair and this spray gave me gorgeous beach waves that i've always tried to achieve. Applied to damp hair, it also acts as a heat protectant, I roughly dried my hair and this spray gave it the control and hold needed to create gentle beachy waves! I loved it.
