The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts an illuminating twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments to grace the skin with a naturally radiant finish. Enriched with vitamins C and E, the powder adds a touch of sheer coverage to promote a seamless matte finish.
The lightweight formula features a soft and silky texture, allowing it to subtly blur the appearance of imperfections without adding weight or looking cakey. What’s more, the no-flashback formula creates a soft-focus effect, making it perfect for photos. With two hues, Laura Mercier is suitable for virtually all skin tones. Adding this powder after your foundation combats unwanted shine and oily finishes, keeping it matte all day, while boasting a subtle luminosity.
- Application: Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder, then work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, or by tapping the powdered side vigorously on back of the hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. (Around the eyes, use Secret Brightening Powder For Under Eyes)
- Routine: As with all setting powders, apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.

Lovely size, shame there’s no applicator
I love this power and have the large one, this travel one is a great size the only downside is there’s no applicator so if I was packing it in my handbag I’d have to pack one separately.

Amazing!
This is an amazing translucent powder and the only one I will ever use. Leaves my concealer on under eyes with 0 creases. Has lasted me like 3-4 months not even 1/3 of the mini bottle. Highly recommend

The best
I’ve tried many, high street and high end and this is by far the best at setting the face. Its so finely milled, doesn’t crease or cake. As its expensive and I don’t use tonnes I buy the mini version which last me 2-3 months
