I was really disappointed to receive my hair dryer with a British power plug. I would have thought that if a product is sent to another country an appropriate plug would be fitted. As the hairdryer is unusable I will have to take it to an electrician to have a plug fitted.

I am finding my Parlux 3500 larger and heavier than expected. Not a compact one that I would like to take on holiday. It is also much noisier than my last Clairol which I have had 30+ years. However, it is powerful, dried my hair quickly on the lowest heat setting. I do find it to be a bit flimsy construction for the price, on mine the mesh over the back filter is loose, whether it is meant to be or not, not sure. So I will have to be very careful with it, otherwise it will break. If you have curly hair then you will definitely, need a diffuser. I would like a comment from Parlux about the loose mesh.

This is a fantastic product. Dries the hair super fast and looks sleek in my bathroom. If you have curly hair, I recommend buying a diffuser for polished curls.

It's simply in a different league I think, to the "usual" hairdryer, it isn't that light but when you hold it to use it it feels much better, and lighter than it really is. It's hot enough but not scorching, and the power is what you will notice compared to non-professional driers. The finish is great in a quicker time than ever before. It's compact but sturdy, so will travel well. I just hope it lasts as long as my other high-street driers, a few years usually, time will tell!
