This Parlux 3800 Eco Friendly Ionic & Ceramic Hair Dryer is really good quality, just the right weight and really powerful. The motor never sounds like it's strained and it's nice and quiet too. The hot setting is properly hot so you get a good smooth style using the nozzles, plus the cold setting combined with the cold shot button ensures a really great effect that lasts. It genuinely looks like I've straightened my hair.

Having been recommended to purchase this brand by my hairdresser, where every salon dryer is a Parlux, I splashed out and finally bought it. It feels solid and well made and is undoubtedly powerful. So far, it hasn't been as hot as I hoped, though, which I need to tame my naturally curly and often frizzy hair. It's early days, as often I find that hairdryers take about 2 or 3 weeks to settle down, and I certainly feel that it will be good value for money. Still couldn't do without my GHDs though.
