I made the mistake of applying way too much but you really don't need to! I applied about 6 drops as I have long hair, but it made my hair very greasy. I had to use dry shampoo to absorb some of it. Only use the recommended amount of 2-3 drops and it does a great job. Not as good as kerastase oil though.

This nourishing oil is very good. I am not quite sure when to put it on my hair eg before styling mousse or before I put any products on my hair, so am not sure whether I am using it properly

Love it, feels light and help makes hair easy to manage.

It does make hair shiny as it is an oil but l actually felt it dried mine out and if you use too much it grases the hair quite a lot. In general am not too impressed as l have tried much better products, the only positive is that it does not contain silicones.

I tried this as an alternative to Moroccan Oil. To be honest if I had never used a conditioning hair oil before I probably would have rated it higher. Redken Diamond Oil was easy to use, smelt fresh and slightly medicinal and herby. My hair is very thick and porous from years of colouring and yes it did make my hair more manageable and softer. However I think that Moroccan Oil is infinitely better in every aspect. I would recommend if your going to invest in an expensive multi-purpose conditioning oil then overlook the Redken Diamond Oil for its much superior alternative
